Michigan Tech requires all* incoming students to take the online ALEKS Math Placement Assessment, which opens May 1. Join Ann Humes, Director of First Year Math, for an overview of the assessment and how your first math class is determined. She'll also cover how to access ALEKS, tips for using the Prep and Learning module, and more. IM your questions, and she'll answer live during the event. *Students with qualifying AP/IB scores or equivalent college transfer credit are exempt from taking ALEKS
